Job Title: Quality Officer

Salary: £32,000.00 – £36,000.00 per year
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Quality Officer to oversee, implement, and continuously improve the organisation’s Quality Management Systems (QMS). The successful candidate will ensure that inspections, internal processes, and quality frameworks comply with all applicable regulatory, contractual, and organisational standards.
The role requires close collaboration with engineers, inspectors, auditors, analysts, and technicians, as well as engagement with customers, employees, contractors, and outsourcing partners to define, maintain, and enhance product and process requirements. The Quality Officer will report directly to senior management on QMS performance, audit outcomes, corrective actions, and strategic improvement initiatives.
– Oversee and enhance Quality Management Systems (QMS) ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and internal auditing standards
– Conduct internal and external audits, inspections, and assessments in line with ACS and COP 119 frameworks
– Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, inspectors, auditors, and analysts to achieve quality objectives
-Prepare structured reports for senior management on audit outcomes, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
– Maintain and update quality handbooks, policies, and guidance documents
– Master’s degree or equivalent qualification
– Extensive experience implementing and managing QMS with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 certification knowledge
-Practical experience with ACS, COP 119, and internal auditing frameworks
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and influence cross-functional teams
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive process improvement

– Plan and allocate quality resources to support inspections, audits, and compliance activities
-Maintain and update quality documentation, handbooks, and policy records
– Monitor process performance metrics and maintain accurate quality records
– Ensure proper documentation and reporting of corrective and preventive actions
